**Update, we have a interview with the filmmaker himself. Check it out!****
The interwebs are buzzing with the inception of this trailer. Looks like another typical film but what sets this apart is the fact that it’s quite possibility the first feature film shot on the Panasonic GH2. And it’s beautiful.
According to the vimeo page he used the Tokina 11-16/Nikkor 28mm /and Nikkor 50mm. He also mentions using the 42 mbps hack. This is the moderate one, today the GH2 can be outrageously hacked to output 100 mbps.
Seems that he color graded using Colorista II
The urge to trade my 60D in for the GH2 has never been stronger….
Hello,
Magnificent trailer, congratulations.
But I wonder, having recently acquired the GH2, which mode did you use ? (24p 25p or 50i ? )
If you used 24 or 25p, how did you deal with the strobing ?
(i have horrible strobing, espescially while panning, even slowly, at shutter speed 1/50 or 1/30).
I did get a fluid result using a setting on the Mirilis Splash player… but can this fluidity be obtained through normal editing programs ? (which one did you use ? )
Anyway, thanks for the inspiring work !
